David Isais, Founder and CEO

Witnessing God’s Word placed into the hands of 6 million people across 50 countries is truly awe-inspiring. I often say, “I am a witness to God’s miracles every day.” People pray, God hears, and He sets in motion everything necessary to answer those prayers for His Word. From translation and copyright, to printing, shipping, logistics, warehousing, and finally local networking and distribution, each step is a miracle in itself. And I have the privilege of witnessing this miracle time and time again.

David and Linda served as missionaries in Ecuador and Mexico, helping to launch various ministries throughout Latin America. In 2012, while David was working at the American Bible Society, a Cuban delegation shared a bold vision: to place one million Bibles into Cuba. The question was how? Together, we embarked on that journey, facing numerous challenges. But with God’s help, every obstacle was overcome. The experience taught us much from vision to funding, from planning to on-the-ground execution.

Now, with 6 million Bibles delivered in 50 countries, we continue to witness what only God can do. This mission has never been ours alone, it has always been His.

Mike Studdard, Executive Director

Mike isn’t a pastor or a saint, he’s a former corporate professional who fell in love with the African people and their deep, open-hearted love for God.

Since 2007, Mike has witnessed the extraordinary potential for growth in rural African churches. Yet, one critical piece is often missing: access to the Bible. Many faithful churchgoers in Africa attend services regularly but do not own a Bible of their own.

In 2018, Mike, along with Reverend Isais and two African pastors, founded African Bible Ministries. Their mission was clear before giving out quality Bibles, they would first teach pastors and their congregations the full story of Christ, from Genesis to Revelation, and the life-changing power of Scripture.

Most African Christians simply cannot afford a Bible. But God wants His people to have His Word—and He can afford it. You can be part of this mission. Help equip God’s people with His Word, the Bible—His Sword.

In 2024, Mike persuaded Reverend Isais that he was uniquely positioned to lead a new initiative. With his knowledge of publishing rights, printing costs, Bible paper, global production, and distribution through Bible Societies, Mike saw an opportunity. Encouraged by partners, they launched million.bible, a global effort to place Bibles in the hands of believers who cannot afford one.

Mike is thrilled that Reverend Isais is leading the launch of million.bible at such a crucial moment for the growing global Church.
